MANCIE – “Moon and Stars EP”
Released in early 2018, "The Moon and Stars EP" marked a new, harder direction in the musical life of rock band MANCIE. Earlier incarnations of the band found a celebration of the traditions of punk, alternative and even pop. But with a new edgier and heavier sound, "Moon and Stars" is a much more head banging version of the long-running female fronted rock band. "Moon and Stars," the lead track, is a definite hit rock song. There is also a new sonic maturity to the EP. Having enlisted the help of engineer/producer/audio savant Jeff Cook, who is known to the NYC elite underground musician community as an audio genius, MANCIE's sound has developed accordingly.
